1:1 Ongoing Editorial Support

Write your novel. Develop your craft.

You don't have to write your first draft alone—and you don't have to wait until it's finished to find out whether your writing is working.

I'll sit beside you while you write your novel, give you expert editorial feedback on the actual pages you're producing, and teach you to see and solve problems for yourself.

You're not just working toward a finished draft. You're becoming a better writer while you create it.

Investment: $2,000 for three months

How It Works

Every two weeks, you'll submit up to 20 pages of your draft.

I'll read your pages, provide written editorial feedback, and identify the most important opportunities for improvement.

Then we'll meet for a 60-minute strategy call to dig into the feedback, work through problems, and determine what you should focus on next.

And as you improve, my feedback evolves with you.

We might begin by focusing heavily on scene structure. As those skills become stronger, we'll move into more advanced areas like interiority, line writing, and narrative drive.

The goal is continual growth—not solving the same problems over and over again.

What You Will Walk Away With

  • Pages you feel proud of

You’ll know what’s working, what isn’t, and what to focus on before you write thousands of words.

  • Stronger scene-writing skills

You’ll learn to recognize what makes a scene effective and how to strengthen one when it doesn’t work.

  • A Deep Understanding of Storytelling

Develop your understanding of conflict, line writing, narrative drive, and the craft decisions that make stories work.

  • Confidence in Your Storytelling Decisions

Stop second guessing every choice. Learn how to evaluate your decisions and move forward with confidence.

  • Greater ability to evaluate your own work.

The goal is to teach you how to see problems and solve them yourself.

  • A Clear Direction for your Next Steps

You won’t finish your feedback cycle wondering what to do. You’ll know what to work on and how to fix it.

Your Three-Month coaching Term

Investment: $2,000 for three months.

At the end of your three-month term, you'll decide whether you'd like to continue for another three months.

There is no long-term contract. Each term is a new decision.

If you continue, we'll set your next three-month term and keep moving forward with your novel.

Don’t wait until the end to become a better writer

“I was looking for straight shooting/no fluff/direct feedback with tips on how to improve. Not just "here's your feedback" and that's it. Kallista did an amazing job with delivering that! She saw things I was missing and shared constructive ways to improve. I feel I learned a lot in a short amount of time. She was also very accessible—I didn't feel like I couldn't reach out to her if I had questions. Further, I didn't feel judged as I am learning how to develop better scenes. Sharing your writing with someone for feedback can feel a bit intimidating and I did not feel that way at all. Thank you Kallista!”
